Sold Secure Explained

Sold Secure is an impartial, non-profit testing facility owned by the UK’s Master Locksmiths Association.
They rigorously test security products—like locks—against a range of real-world attack techniques including picking, drilling, cutting, and bolt cropping. Each product is then given a clear, comparable security rating
to help you choose the right level of protection.

All Sold Secure-approved products are tested in their purpose-built lab to ensure consistency and reliability.
At Disklok, every one of our locks has been awarded a Sold Secure rating, giving you confidence that you’re getting proven protection tailored to your needs.

Sold Secure ratings are broken down into four levels: Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Diamond—with each step up offering stronger theft resistance. While choosing the right lock can seem overwhelming, knowing your specific security needs makes finding the best Sold Secure-rated lock much easier.

The Gold Edition Disklok

With over 30 years of proven performance, Disklok has earned its place as a leader in vehicle security. Its distinctive, all-steel design sets it apart from standard steering wheel locks—not by gripping the wheel, but by fully enclosing it. This innovative approach makes leverage attacks nearly impossible, protecting the vehicle’s built-in steering lock and making it extremely difficult to steer even if access is gained.
